Therefore,it is of great significance for reducing the disability rate and improving the quality of life to investigation the rule of orthopedics disease occuring and to develop appropriate preventive measures,and to carry out the target-oriented health education. Objective:Review research about the cases of inpatients in my branch for the last five years is done from the epidemiological aspect,to make the objective analysis of orthopedics disease,and provide the reference of my branch specialized development.Methods:Clinical epidemiology analysis about 14494 inpatients'cases from January 2004 to December 2008 is done by review investigation,to know the epidemiological characteristic and the distributed situation of orthopedics disease, and provide the reference of my branch specialized development.Resaults:The total number of my Branch for five years is 14,494 patients, of whom 9720 were male, 4774 were female, respectively accounted for 67.1% and 32.9% of the total number of patients; The male needs to be more than the female. The patient population of 2008 is the most, accounts for 35.8% of the total number of patients. The overall tendency is the patient population increases year by year.There are 4079 spinal patients and 10,415 limb patients, account separately for 28.1% and 71.9% of the total number of patients.The first place which has the most number of my branch disease is fracture, altogether 8828 patients, account for 60.9% of the total number of patients, of whom 6338 were male, 2490 were female, respectively accounted for 71.8% and 28.2% of the total number of fracture patients.
