Objective: To observe efficacy of Jianxin Tang in treating heart failure caused by coronary heart disease of qi deficiency-blood stasis type on clinical symptoms , sign, TCM syndrome, left ventricular function and volume(LVEF, LVESV, LVEDV), and changes of NYHA class and taking chemical medicines (ACEI, small doses of diuretics,β-blocker) as the control group, to objectively evaluate the efficacy of Jianxin Tang in treating heart failure caused by coronary heart disease.Methods: Sixty patients with heart failure caused by coronary heart disease of qi deficiency-blood stasis type entered the study and were randomized to experimental and control groups. The control group was given conventional western medicine treatment; The experimental group was given Jianxin Tang on the basis of the control group, boil with water and use as tea.Take in the morning and at night each day. The treatment duration was two weeks. The doppler echocardiography (LVEF, LVESV, LVEDV) , the conditions of blood, urine, excrement, liver, renal function, electrolyte were determined at the beginning and the end of the trail respectively. We observed the changes of clinical symptoms, sign, TCM syndrome and NYHA class, the effects were illustrated in words.Results:1.The symptoms of total TCM:The difference of the two groups has statistics meaning(P<0.05).2.The difference of two groups after study has statistic significance about eight symptoms of CHF such a sxinji,qiduan and ete(P<0.05).The effect of the treatment group is prior to the control group.3.NYHA and Lee heart failure schedule:the difference of two groups after study has not statistic significance(P>0.05)4.Color doPPler:the difference of the two EF has not statistic significance(P>0.05).5.the effect of ECG:the difference of the two ECG has not statistic significance(P>0.05)Conclusions: Jianxin Tang had significant treating effects in heart failure caused by coronary heart disease of Qi deficiency-blood stasis sydrome.
