The electroencephalogram (EEG) is the person's total reflection in the cerebral layer or skin of head surface of the brain nerve electrical and physiological activity. Due to having no hurt to human and having very fine time resolution, the study about EEG is the focus now. It is a very viable methord that discovering the information of brain fatigue by analyzing the EEG.AIM: Changing of brain resulting from fatigue is discussed in this paper. According to the clustering analysis on EEG data of the subjects, we can get the methords of estimating brain fatigue. Moreover, this study is also the experimental and academic groundwork for the scientific forcast of brain fatigue.METHORDS: Twelve right-handed, healthy subjects took part in the study. We get the EEG data about 44 events of closing eyes and ingesting some alcohol, counting and hearing with the standard system electrodes, and then we use clustering method to analyze the EEG data. The method of analysis is system clustering analysis. Processing and statistic analysis of EEG data has performed using EEG analysis toolbox and program of clustering analysis.RESULTS: Result of clustering to EEG confirms that three normal clusters have gotten by frontal and center area, occipital area and temporal area. After the subjects have ingested a little of alcohol, their mostly electrodes in frontal area, center area and occipital area are clustered in a big cluster. With the volume increasing, the big cluster is gradually disassembled. After counting, the EEG data of left and right brain is obviously different, and the electrodes are mostly distributed fore and aft. After hearing, the EEG data of left and right brain is also obviously different and the results of clustering are similar to the counting's.CONCLUSION: With having ingested a little of alcohol, the correlation between frontal area and occipital area is enhanced. It can be inferred that alpha rhythm is gradually enhanced and the area of alpha rhythm is expanded after alcohol ingestion. But with the volume increasing, the quondam cluster is gradually disassembled. It can be demonstrated that the cerebral equilibrium and stability is degressive and the degree of brain inhibition and brain fatigue is extended at the same time. The left brain answers for counting and comprehension of language, so the left brain will be in the state of fatigue during counting and hearing. It can induce that the correlation between left area and right area is degressive and the clusters are also distributed fore and aft.
