OBJECTIVE To investigate the therapeutic mechanism of BU SHEN ZHUANG GU drugs osteoporosis,and its effects on bone metabolism in ovariectomized rat.METHODS The mature female rats were divided into six groups.A was sham operation group,B was model group,C was BU SHEN ZHUANG GU low-dose group,D was BU SHEN ZHUANG GU middle-dose group,E was BU SHEN ZHUANG GU high-dose group,F was positive control group.Four weeks after ovariectomy,groups C,D,E,F were treated with relevant drugs for 12 weeks.After finished the treatment.we detected the indexes: BMD,bone bio-mechanics,and the biochemical index in serum(Ca,K,ALP,E2 and BGP)was determined after the rats were given BU SHEN ZHUANG GU drugs,and were compared with the model group,the sham operation group and the positive control group.RESULTS The Ca,K,ALP,E2 and BGP level in the BU SHEN ZHUANG GU drugs group were obviously higher than that of the model group.The indexes of BMD and bone bio-mechanics.SPSS 11.0 and ONE-Way ANOVA was used to analyse the figure.CONCLUSION From the results,it can be seen that BU SHEN ZHUANG GU drugs can decrease the activities of osteoclast(OC)and inhibit the bone absorption,simultaneously increase the activities of OB and promote the bone formation,thus prevent the bone mass loss.So we can say that BU SHEN ZHUANG GU drugs is a better prevention and treatment against postmenopausal osteoporosis. |
