Objective:To further certificate the role of typeⅠhypersensitivity reaction on the mechanism of the viral hepatitis B through comparing the tryptase and chymase serum levels in patients with viral hepatitis B.Methods:Serum tryptase and chymase levels were measured in 55 cases with acute and chronic viral hepatitis B and 35 normal cases using double-antibody sandwich ELISA method.Serum ALT levels were measured with automatic biochemistry analyzer, and observing its correlation with trytase and chymase.Results:①The tryptase and chymase levels in viral hepatitis B were significantly higher than the normal cases.②The tryptase and chymase levels of viral hepatitis B with ALT>10ULN is highest among others, the levels of tryptase and chymase in viral hepatitis B with 2ULN<ALT<10ULN is higher than the patients with ALT<2ULN.③Serum levels of tryptase and chymase in viral hepatitis B patients were significantly and positively correlated with serum levels of ALT。Conclusion:①Serum tryptase and chymase levels in viral hepatitis B patients may reflect the inflammation of liver.②The result of our previous research and the examination of tryptase and chymase, provided further provenment for the probability of the interference of typeⅠhypersensitivity reaction with the mechanism of viral hepatitis B.
