| Objective To investigate the law of syndromes in TCM of tubal obstruction infertility; To explore the efficacy and mechanism of TCM treament and combination treatment of traditional chinese medicine and western medicine in treating patients with this disease. Methods We collected the data of patients with tubal obstruction infertility treated in our hospital from January 2004 to February 2007, and carried on prospective studies. Results 102 patients were followed up, and among them the most common TCM syndrome was qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome. The cure rate is 42.55% in clinic class with oral Tongguanzhongzi Decoction; it is 55.50% in comprehensive therapy class, and 46.67% in hysteroscopy combined with comprehensive therapy class. Analysis of the therapeutic effects showed that the cure rate is closely related to the age, course of disease, degree of tubal obstruction and hydrosalpinx, and it is higher in patients of qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome. Conclusion Tubal obstruction infertility can be effectively treated by TCM treament and combination treatment of traditional chinese medicine and western medicine. But the problem how to chose the optimum schemes suit for different degree of tubal obstruction needs more studies. |
