Observations On The Curative Effect Of Shenqibaqiayin On The Impaired Glucose Tolerance Patients With Damp-retention Due To Hypofunction Of The Spleen Type

AimObserve the curative effect of Shenqibaqiayin on the impaired glucose tolerance patients with damp-retention due to hypofunction of the spleen type to provide patients with traditional Chinese medicine with effective curative effect,moderate-price and without side-effects.Methods90 cases impaired glucose tolerance patients were selected in the research and were divided into three groups randomly,30 cases were selected as simplicity lifeway intervene group and treated by simplicity bite and sup and sport intervene;30 cases were selected as Chinese traditional medicine group and treated by lifeway intervene and Chinese traditional medicine"Shenqibaqiayin";30 cases were selected as Western medicine group and treated by lifeway intervene and Glucobay,each group was cured for three months,observe the changes of fasting blood-glucose(FPG),insulin(FINS),2 hour blood sugar in OGTT test (2hPG),insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR) and clinical symptoms before and after curing in the three groups.Results1.The changs of guide line:1) Compared with pretherapy,the FPG,FINS,2hPG,HOMA-IR in the three groups in post-treatment are lower.The differences are highly significant(P＜0.01);2) The differences of FPG,2hPG,HOMA-IR between Chinese traditional medicine group and simplicity lifeway intervene group are highly significant (P＜0.01),the difference of FINS is significant(P＜0.05);3),The differences of FPG,2hPG,FINS,HOMA-IR between Chinese traditional medicine group and Western medicine group were not significant(P＞0.05);4) The differences of the marks of clinical symptoms between pretherapy and post-treatment are highly significant(P＜0.01);The differences of the D-value of the marks of clinical symptoms between pretherapy and post-treatment are highly significant(P＜0.01);The melioration of the marks of clinical symptoms in the Chinese traditional medicine group is higher than that in the simplicity lifeway intervene group and the Western medicine group.2.The evaluation of the curative effect:1) The curative effect of reducing blood sugar:the Chinese traditional medicine group is significantly higher than the simplicity lifeway intervene group(P＜0.01),but is not significantly different from the Western medicine group (P＞0.05);2) The curative effect of clinical symptoms:the Chinese traditional medicine group is significantly higher than the simplicity lifeway intervene group and the Western medicine group(P＜0.01).3.The evaluation of security:8 cases of patients in the Western medicine group weren't windy originally,occurring windy and breaking wind in four weeks after taking the medicine,but the symptoms were alleviated after keeping on taking the medicine;The lifeway intervene group and the Chinese traditional medicine group both didn't appeared side-effects.ConclusionsShenqibaqiayin could reduce blood sugar and limosis insulin effectively,improve insulin resistance index,and improve patients' clinical symptoms.There are no side-effects through elementary observation.Shenqibaqiayin has no significant difference from Glucobay in reducing blood sugar,but better than Glucobay in improving patients' clinical symptoms.It's a modus operandi in curing impaired glucose tolerance patients with damp-retention due to hypofunction of the spleen type.
