Clinical Retrospective Analyses Of The Ovarian Immature Teratoma

Objective: To retrospectively investigate the clinic characters ,pathologic kinds,means of treatment and the follow-up information of the ovaraian immature teratoma. To analyze the prognosis factors for women with immature teratoma. To evaluate To evaluate the clinic diagnosist meanings of senem tumor marker detection in the ovarian immature teratoma , the reversing factores of maligant degree and it's clinic significance.Meathods: Patients' medical records, pathologic and follow-up information of 22 cases of the ovarian immature taratoma from 1999.12-2007.06 in Qilu Hospital of ShanDong University. Kaplan-Meier hazards analyses were used to identify predictors of outcome,statistical analysis was performed using SPSS sofeware version 13.0.Results: 1. The ages of patients distributed from 12 years to 45 years. The median age was 24 years,presented with symptoms of abdominal pain and windy (68.18%),pelvic mass (32.82%),some patients were sympoloms of tumor oppressing and fever. 2.All patiants were cured surgeried,after surgery. 16 patients were given chemotherapy , including PE(6 cases),BEP(cases),BVP(lcase),six patients in 22 died.time from diagnose to death was 12 months. 60months,10 months,24 months, 12 months,20 months,6women all died of ovarian immature teratoma,oters were alive.3.There were Stageâ… (15case),Stageâ…¡.â…¢.â…£(7 case),in 22 cases .Using Kaplan-Meier methivd ,the clinical stage was prognositic factor with significantly statistical differentiation(p=0.005)4.According histologiay grade ,there were gradeâ… (12 cases),grade (10 cases),Histological grade was related to the prognosis of immature teratoma.5.Age,methods of operation,chenwterapy have no relation with prognosis (P=0.446,0.895,0.446)6.Tumore marker detection ,the hoist of AFP were 8 cases.includicy gradeâ… (2 cases),gradeâ…¡(3 cases),gradeâ…¢(3cases);Hoist of CA 125 was 8 cases. Including gradeâ… (2 cases),gradeâ…¡(3 cases),gradeâ…¢(3 cases).Conclusions: The ovarian immature teraloma excessively betide children and youny women, It's clinic symptoms was special. The head symptoms were usually abdominal pain and windy. Pelvic mass. Clinic stage and histological grade were prognostic factors with significantly statistical differentiation. The age,operation meathod. Chemotherapy had no relation to pronosis.
