Objective To investigate the value of detection dynamic changing regularity of serum CA15-3 combined with CYFRA2-11 and CEA after surgical resection and the relationship between serum CA15-3 and clinicopathological characteristics in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer. Methods The samples were collected from 20 healthy adults,20 patients with benign pulmonary tumor and 40 patients with non-small-cell lung cancer. The blood samples in healthy persons group were collected in the morning when they were fasting; The blood samples in benign pulmonary tumor group were collected on the day before operation and on the 12th day postoperatively; The blood samples in non-small-cell lung cancer group were collected on the day before operation and on the 12th,30th,60th and 90th days postoperatively,25 samples were collected on the 120th ,20 samples were collected on the 180th and 5 samples were collected on the 240th days postoperatively.Decided the cut-off value of serum CA15-3 in lung tumor by ROC Curve . The serum CA15-3 and CEA levels were detected by chemiluminescence method,Meanwhile the serum CYFRA2-11 levels were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Results The level and positive rate of serum CA15-3﹑CYFRA2-11﹑CEA in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer were significantly higher than those in patients with benign pulmonary tumor and in healthy adults(P<0.05);The positive rate of serum CA15-3 in patients with adenocarcinoma was higher than those in patients with squamous cell carcinoma(P<0.05),while the positive rate of serum CYFRA2-11 in patients with squamous cell carcinoma was higher than those in patients with adenocarcinoma(P<0.05); The levels of serum CA15-3﹑CYFRA2-11 decreased gradually in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer after radical removal of the cancer, and completely returned to the normal level around the 12th day after operation, while the level of serum CEA completely returned to the normal around the 30th day after operation; The levels of serum CA15-3﹑CYFRA2-11 and CEA in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer didn't reduce to the normal level on the 12th and 30th day after palliative operation; If there were tumor metastasis or recurrence developed, the level of serum CA15-3 and CYFRA2-11 would increase again, but the level of serum CEA wouldn't.Conclusions The combined detection of the pre- and post-operative dynamic changes of serum CA15-3﹑CYFRA2-11 and CEA in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer was useful in diagnosis, therapeutic efficiency and prognosis judgment, then guided the patents'post-operative combined therapy.
