Objective: To observe the therapeutic effects on the cerebral infarction and the changes on the brain electricity activity by clinical Electroacupuncture acupoints by neural stem, and discuss its mechanism.Method: 90 patients are divided into two groups at random. There are 30 patients in the comparison group. Jianyu, Quchi, Shousanli, Waiguan and Hegu are chosen for the upper limbs and Yanglingquan, Zusanli, Jiexi and Kunlun for the lower limbs. There are 60 patients in the therapy group (nerve stem acupoint group). Jiquan and Neiguan are chosen for the upper limbs and Huantiao and Sanyinjiao for the lower limbs. After the patient feels the transmission of acupuncture, the acupuncture needles keeps 20 minutes with the intermittence wave of electroacupuncture apparatus 6805-Aâ…¡. Two weeks are a period of treatment. It is necessary to make an assessment of the nerve function damage, the movement function and the electroencephalogram before and after the therapy..Result: In the nerve stem acupoint group, the therapeutic effect is obvious, the assessment of the nerve function damage is remarkable(P<0.01), the body movement function has also improved (P<0.01). Moreover in the therapy group, the assessment of the nerve function damage and body movement function is wonderful(P<0.05). There is a remarkble difference between the assessment of the nerve function damage and the movement function (P<0.01) by the comparision of two groups after half a month. The brain electricity in the two groups are not different before the therapy ( P>0.05) . It is obviously different in the therapy group before and after the therapy (P<0.01) . It is normal in the comparison group (P>0.05) . It is indicated that the electroacupuncture acupoints by neural stem could reduce.the abnormality of brain electricity and accelerate the recovery of cerebral function. Nevertheless, the conparison group is not obvious.Conclusion: Electroacupuncture acupoints by neural stem could improve the nerve function of the cerebral infarction patients, strengthen the movement function of hemiparalysis body, upgrade the movement of brain electricity, effectively enhance the excitability of pallium cells, make the anabiosis of the restraining brian cells around the cerebral infarction and promote the recanalization and the function reorganization of impaired nerve. It is stated that the curative effect of the electroacupuncture acupoints by neural stem is better than that of the traditional acupuncture.
