Economic Analysis For Liver And Renal Transplant In A Transplant Center

Objective: By analyzing consume and structure for liver and renal Transplant patients in a Transplant Center, to provide the reasonable decision.Methods: Write down the data in the case of liver and renal Transplant patients in Transplant Center in 3 years into the databank by Excel. Then, have a statistic analysis by SPSS13.Results: By the data analysis, the results demonstrated that most patients who have liver and kidney transplantation are male (80% and 66.67% respectively) ,and married ( 94.67% and 90.63% respectively ) . 61.34% patient with liver transplantation is in the age of 40-60 years old. 90.63% patient with renal transplantation is in the age of 40-50 years old. 66.67% patient having liver transplantation and 42. 15% patient having renal transplantation came from aboard. The patients situation is in general when admitted(85.33%n and 96.14% respectively). The fate stay in the hospital for 53.33% liver transplantation is about 30-60 days, the fate stay in the hospital for 42.42% renal transplantation is less 30days. 56% patient received liver transplantation and 3.31% patient received renal transplantation have experienced complications. The cost liver transplantation is mainly composed of drugs, treatment and blood transfusion; the cost renal transplantation is mainly composed of drugs, treatment and lab test. By Single Factor Analysis, there was a statistics significant difference on total cost of liver transplantation patients among their occupation and the length of hospitalization. There was a statistics significant difference on total cost of renal transplantation patients among their age, occupations, rescuing times, hospitalization days and marriage. By Multiple factors analysis, the factors which influence on hospitalization cost for liver transplantation patients is hospitalization days, occupations and rescuing times,respectively. The factors which influence on hospitalization cost for renal transplantation patients is rescuing times, hospitalization days and occupations, respectively.Conclusions: 1. In the transplantation center, the average medical cost was 330,000 yuan for 75 liver-transplantation cases. It's 75,000 yuan for 363 renal transplantation cases.2. The structure of in-patients' cost of liver-transplantation, the top three cost was rugs, treatment and blood transfusion. The structure of renal's, drugs and treatment and examination which occupied the top three places.3. From analysis of affecting factor of total medical expense, the main relevant factors of inpatient medical expenditures were hospitalized days, occupations and rescuing times, respectively. For renal transplantation's, it's rescuing times, hospitalized days and occupations, respectively.
