The Relationship Between Endogenous Opioid Peptides And Pruritus Of The Intrahepatic Cholestasis Of Pregnancy

Objective To explore the role of endogenous opioid peptides (EOP)in the Intrahepatic Cholestasis Of Pregnancy.Methods Twenty patients with ICP(ICP group),twenty patients with the benign condition of pruritus gravidarum(PG group),and twenty healthy pregnant women(control group)were studied.The concentrations of plasma EOP(β-EP,DynA_1-13and LEK)were measured by radioimmunoassay.Depending on the Visual Analog Score the ICP group(A group)is separated into mile pruritus group(A1 group)and serious group(A2 group),and compare the two.Results:(1)In the ICP group,the levels of plasma EOP (β-EP,Dyn1-13andLEK)were(261.79±41.13)pg/ml,(189.59±6.32) pg/ml,(398.25±68.93)pg/ml respectively;In PG group,The levels of plasma EOP(β-EP,Dyn1-13andLEK)were(42.08±2.86)pg/ml,(66.14±5.23)pg/ml,(205.79±54.13)pg/ml respectively;In control group,The levels of plasma EOP(β-EP,Dyn1-13andLEK)were (41.71±2.47)pg/ml,(65.71±4.68)pg/ml,(206.21±46.16)pg/ml respectively;The levels of plasma EOP(β-EP,Dyn1-13andLEK)in ICP group were significantly higher than that in the PG group and control group(p＜0.01);There were no significant difference in the levels of plasma EOP(β-EP,Dyn1-13andLEK)between PG group and control group(p＞0.05);(2)in the A1 group,the levels of plasma EOP (β-EP,Dyn1-13andLEK)were(216.63±21.44)pg/ml,(187.53±2.39) pg/ml,(396.25±46.53)pg/ml respectively;and in the A2 group,the levels of plasma EOP(β-EP,Dyn1-13andLEK)were(289.77±27.25) pg/ml,(192.34±6.33)pg/ml,(401.94±28.94)pg/ml respectively.The levels of plasmaβ-EP in the A2 group were significantly higher than that in the A1 group(p＜0.01);There were no significant difference in the levels of plasma Dyn1-13 and LEK between A1 and A2 group(p＞0.05).Conclusions.the Intrahepatic Cholestasis Of Pregnancy was associated with EOP,the changes of EOP levels in ICP may play an important role in the pathophysiological changes in ICP.
