Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate the expression and significance of HSP(Heat shock protein)in human chronic atrial fibrillation.Method:We got right atrial samples and serum samples from forty patients undergoing valve replacement,in which twenty patients had chronic atrial fibrillation(AF).the other was in sinus rhythm(SR).The HSP27/60/70 level expression in right atrial samples was determined by Western-blot,the expression in serum samples was determined by ELISA.Result:1.All patients were restored to health.2.There was no different of HSP27/60/70 expression in serum samples in two groups.3. There was no different content of HSP27 in two groups. (605.66±189.03VS584.34±144.79,p>0.05)4.Compared with SR, the AF group had higher content of HSP 60(5965.03±1564.92VS3159.80±1055.41,p<0.05).5.Compared with SR,the AF group had lower content of HSP 70(861.02+246.77VS1068.51±332.18,p<0.05).6.In the SR group the expression of HSP27 in right atrial and serum samples was related(r=0.54,P<0.05).7.In the SR group the expression of HSP70 in right atrial and RAD was related (r=-0.466,P<0.05).8.In the SR group the expression of HSP60 in right atrial and LAD was related(r=-0.523,P<0.05).Conclusion:The expression of HSP60 and HSP70 indicated possible important role in chronic atrial fibrillation.
