Cancer pain was a serious clinical syndrome,decreased the patients' quality of life greatly.According to the rat model of bone cancer pain described by the others,our presented study was aimed to establishing the modified rat model of tibia bone cancer pain and evaluation the animal by sectecting the bone destruction,ambulatory pain,thermal hyperalgesia,mechanical allodynia and weight bearing on bind limbs,and examining changes of glial activity in spinal cord of bone cancer pain rats,by using immunohistochemistry.The following is results:syngenetic Walker 256 mammary gland carcinoma cells were injected into the tibia medullary cavity could changed the behavior of pain.These results suggested that the rat model of bone cancer pain we have developed in this study shares many key features with human bone cancer pain.
