The 21 century belongs to Network Times,and development of network provides much convenience for issuing and sharing of information.Furthurmore, RIA,a rich-client application ,has been injecting new vitality into further development of network.Web application providers(such as Google,Microsoft and Yahoo) have adopted RIA,and other commercial websites are following their steps.At present some scholars and computer program developers also has carried extensive researches on RIA and put it into network teching.At the same time,relative researches has being done in Medical Profession.The topic that how to introduce RIA into medical Web-based learning will be an eye-catching issue,especially in morphology education.This research analyses deep the status and main exsiting contradictiones in morphology education and Web-based learning resources. On the basis of comprehensive understanding of the defination, development process, technology background of RIA and its applied research home and broad, it suggests that RIA can be imployed to construct morphology Web-based learning to resolve contradictions in Web-based learning anciently, thus to improve its methods and ways, optimize the effects and efficiency of Web-based learning. Based on the analysis of theoretical foundation and technical basis, this research discusses the design ideas and methods of medical morphology Web-based learning. The display implementation of RIA in "Web-based learning system of Human Systematic Anatomy" is Flash+XML (Extensible Markup Language) , and its background is ASP+Access 2003. The system is currently on trial in teaching normally.After theorical and practical exploration, this article has concluded the design principles of application of RIA in Morphology Web-based learning system. The design and development of "Web-based learning system of human systematic Anatomy" is a good try in the field where RIA is introduced into medical Web-based learning, and serves as an actual case. Importantly, the great advantages of RIA in image processing makes it possible that the high quality digital morphology images and data exhibite themselves, which improves teching effects on the whole.
