The Study Of Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Ferrum, Zinc Content In Serum And Cerebrospinal Fluid Of Patients With Primary Trigeminal Neuralgia

Objective:To detection the content of five essential elements(Ca,P,Mg,Fe,Zn) in serum and C.S.F of patients with primary trigeminal neuralgia.And investigate the role of five elements in serum and C.S.F on the pathogenesis of TN,and the relevance of etiology.Methods:Used the cases control,Collected 37 cases primary TN patients in Huhhot Stomatological hospital in order their admission as study group.At the same time,collected 20 cases patients without nervous system disease.The average age is 55-75 years old,excluding high blood pressure,diabetes and other diseases of the nervous system,no liver,renal,endocrine organ of pathological changes,2 months have not taken medicines which influence the metabolism of Ca,P,Mg,Fe,Zn.Detection the selected Ca,P,Mg,Fe,Zn contents in serum and C.S.F with Olympus AU 400 completely automatic biochemistry analyzerResults:1.In primary TN patients,the serum Ca,P,Mg content is lower than the control group obviously(p＜0.05),but Zn and Fe content is higher than the control group obviously(p＜0.05). 2.In primary TN patients,C.S.F Ca,Fe,the Zn content is higher than the control group obviously(p＜0.05),the P content have no obvious difference(p＞0.05),the Mg content is lower than the control group obviously(p＜0.05).Conclusions:Patients with primary TN,the change of five elements contents in C.S.F and serum is connected with biochemical material change.The contents changed of Ca,P,Mg,Fe, Zn play an important role in the development of TN,possibly demyelinating lesions,but the specific mechanisms needed further study.
