Clinical Study On The Effect Of Jiecheng Sinisan On Alcohol Liver Disease

Objective:Alcoholic Liver Disease is the most main cause that results in liver cirrhosis in western countries.Incidence of it is about 20 percent of drinking people in our country.It will be harmful seriously to national health because ALD rapidly grows while people's life level progressively improves and alcoholic drinking numbers increase year by year.As a result,researching for prevention and treatment of ALD has became an important topic in medicine.To observe the clinical effect of Jiecheng Sinisan(JCHSNS) on patients with alcohol liver and investigate the function and probable mechanism about it in current study.Methods:82 patients diagnosed as alcohol liver diseases were randomly divided into two groups:the treated and the control.The paitients in treatment group were treated with JCHSNS,boiled by water and taking two times separately one day.The paitients in control group were treated with Xiaochaihu granules,taking 10g per time and three times one day,two months constituting a single therapeutic course in both groups.It was asked to stop drinking and other drugs during treatment. Separated serum was preserved 20 degrees below zero to examine after drawing blood of paitients on an empty stomach.All paitients were evaluated at the variation of clinical symptoms and indicators,the expression of liver function,blood lipid,cytokin,serum SOD,LPO and hepatic fibrosis markers before and after treatment.Results:①The symptoms and indicators of patients suffered from abdominal distention,loss of appetite,weak,hepatalgia were obviously improved in two groups,even disappeared on individual patients.There are some distinct differences of curative effect between two groups(P＜0.05).②Various kinds of liver function markers were lowered remarkably by JCHSNS or Xiaochaihu granules.There are some distinct differences between two groups(P＜0.01,P＜0.05 ).③JCHSNS reduced significantly amount of LDL—C by statistical analysis(P＜0.05),while it or Xiaochaihu granules remarkably dropped amount of TC,TG and LDL—C(P＜0.01).④JCHSNS apparently lowered TNF-α,IL-6,LPO and increased SOD in serom compared with Xiaochaihu granules(P＜0.01).⑤Obviously Decreasing the PCⅢ,HA,LN in serum and comparing JCHSNS with Xiaochaihu granules,there are some distinct differences(P＜0.05).Conclusion:JCHSNS can obviously improve liver function,regulate the fat metabolism and immune,inhibit inflammatory reaction, resist hepatic fibrosis,and improve the symptom of patients suffering from alcohol liver diseases.However,patients treated with Xiaochaihu has less therapeutic effect.
