Objectives: To evaluate the 2D and CDFI combined with detection of VEGF and CXCR4 in the diagnosis and prognosis calculation of breast cancer, and then find out the correlation between them. Methods: We first found out the metastases and monitored the blood supply in 61 patients with primary breast cancer. Then we detected the expression of VEGF and CXCR4 in the removed metastases of breast cancer. Results: The blood supply of breast cancer in axillary-node-positive group was more than which in axillary-node-negative group, and as the blood supply increasing, the histologic grade of the cancer rising(p<0.01). The expression of VEGF and CXCR4 in axillary-node-positive group were higher than which in axillary-node-negative group, and the higher the histologic grade of the cancer was, the more VEGF and CXCR4 expressed (p<0.01).Conclusions: The expression of VEGF and CXCR4 is closely relate to the angiogenesis and metastasis in breast cancer, and CDFI can reflect the angiogenesis indirectly and also provide credible basis for the diagnosis and prognosis calculation of breast cancer.
