Objective To make a standard atlas of skeletal development class and the methods of skeleal age assessment in Chinese Han people teenagers .Method 1059 radiograms with extremitas sternalis claviculae and six big joints of male adolescent were obtained from 11 to 20 years of South China, Centre China and East China.The relation between ages and secondary ossification center,s appearance of extremitas sternalis claviculae and the epiphysises closure of six big joints was reformed according to image morphology characters based on the secondary ossification center,s appearance and the closure of epiphysises, To make the standard atlas of skeleal age assessment in Chinese male teenagers according to analysize the degree or ranks of secondary ossification center,s appearance and the epiphysises closure.To creat the math models refering to skeleal age assessment according to the correlations between ages and secondary ossification center,s appearance and the closure of epiphysises.Result Obtain the real ages in Chinese male teenagers corrently about scecondary ossification center appearance of extremitas sternalis claviculae and the closure of diaphysis-epiphysis. To make the standard atlas method of skeleal age assessment.Formulate the atlas method of skeleal age concluding. Math models were created such as y=7.673+0.355* X1+0.128*X2+0.131*X3+0.082*X4+0.145*X6+0.0 8*X9+0.221*X15 et al.The accurate rate range from±1 years assessing skeletal age for multiple regression equation was 70.59% and was 88.24% range from±1.5 years.Conclusion The secondary ossification center,s appearance of extremitas sternalis claviculae and the diaphysis-epiphysis closure of six big joints in Chinese male teenagers corrently and the standard atlas method of skeleal age assessment and math models refer to assess the skeletal age in Chinese male adolescents.It can improve effectively the Character of science.
