Further, we analyze the relation between they and coronary arteriosclerosis changes and the function and meaning of adiponectin , MIF and AP-1 in the formation process of artherosclerosis instability plaque.Method 142 patients were enrolled in our study, who underwent the Coronary Angiography (CAG) from August 2004 to February 2006 in Department of Cardiology , Kunming General Hospital, and were confirmed to have or not CHD. The patients were divided into coronary heart disease (CHD) group (n=107) and control group (n=35) according to the Coronary Angiography (CAG).CHD group was further divided into stable angina pectoris (SAP) group (n=32) and acute coronary syndrome (ACS) group (n=75) according to the clinical property. In addition, according to the standard of ACC/AHA coronary changes in 1988, CHD group was divided into A type group, B type group and C type group; meanwhile according to the degree of coronary lesion, CHD group was further divided into light stenosis group, moderate stenosis group and severe stenosis group; meanwhile according to the extent of coronary lesion, CHD group was further divided into 1 branches group, 2 branches group and 3 branches group .The levels of plasma adiponectin and MIF and the activity of AP-1 in leucocytes of peripheral blood were measured by ELISA. The numerus of absorbance means the amounts of AP-1 (Phospho-c-Jun(Ser63)), which was obtained through measured lysates of leucocytes of peripheral blood.Results1 The levels of plasma MIF and the absorbance of Phosphp-c-Jun in leucocytes of peripheral blood in CHD group were significant higher than those in control subjects. The levels of plasma adiponectin in CHD group was significant lower than those in control subjects.2 The mainly coronary changes type of ACS was multitude branches lesion, heavy degree changes and B type and C type changes. The mainly coronary changes type of the SAP was single branches lesion, light degree changes and A type changes. The levels of plasma MIF and the the absorbance of Phosphp-c-Jun in ACS group were significant higher than those in SAP group. The levels of plasma adiponectin in ACS group was significant lower than those in SAP group.3 Our results indicated that the plasma concentration of adiponectin decreased gradually and the levels of plasma MIF and the absorbance of Phosphp-c-Jun increased gradually along with the aggravate of coronary artery changes degree. This demonstrated that adiponectin,MIF and AP-1 are associated with the severity of coronary artery changes degree.4 Analysis of regression of coronary lesion indicated that the extent of coronary lesion was positively associated with plasma MIF and Phosphp-c-Jun of leucocytes and negatively associated with plasma adiponectin; the degree of coronary lesion was positively associated with Phosphp-c-Jun of leucocytes and negatively associated with plasma adiponectin; the type of coronary lesion was positively associated with plasma MIF and Phosphp-c-Jun of leucocytes.5 Plasma adiponectin was negatively associated with plasma MIF and Phosphp-c-Jun of leucocytes;plasma MIF was positively associated with Phosphp-c-Jun of leucocytes .Conclusions1 AP-1,MIF and adiponectin are associated with CHD. Adiponectin may be a protected factor of CHD. AP-1,MIF may be promote the formative process of coronary atherosclerosis .2 AP-1,MIF and adiponectin are significantly associated with coronary lesion complexity in patients with CHD. AP-1 and MIF maybe promote the progression of coronary artery changes. Hypoadiponectin maybe attenuate the progression of coronary artery changes.3 AP-1,MIF and adiponectin are maybe the useful predictor for coronary plaque whether it is a vulnerable plaque. High AP-1 and MIF levels may contribute to coronary plaque vulnerability. High adiponectin may contribute to coronary plaque stability. | Keywords/Search Tags: | activator protein-1 (AP-1), macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF), adiponectin (APN), coronary artery disease, atherosclerosis | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
