Fifty-two samples of breast cancer and sixteen samples of benign breast tumor,sixteen samples of malignant tumor in animal and six samples of benign tumor in animal were assayed using HE staining to observe the tissue and structure of animal's tumor and immunohistochemical SP method for detection of iNOS,P53 and c-myc protein expression level. The relationships between iNOS,P53 and c-myc gene expression were investigated. Their relationships with clinico-pathological parameters wre compared.The function of iNOS generation in breast cancer and the mechanism of iNOS generation in breast cance and animal's malignant tumor were investigated.In the study of the expression of iNOS in breast cancer, 30 cases expressed iNOS in 52 cases of the breast cancer group. It's positive expression rate was 57.7%,which was higher than that of the benign breast tumor group12.5%(2/6).There was significant difference between the breast cancer group and the benign breast tumor group about the expression of iNOS(P<0.01)(Table 5). In the study of the expression of iNOS in animal's malignant tumor, 13 cases expressed iNOS in16cases of the malignant tumor group. Its positive expression rate was 81.3%, In the study of the expression of iNOS in benign tumor in animal, 0 cases expressed iNOS in 6cases of the benign tumor group. Its positive expression rate was 0%.31 cases expressed P53 in 52 cases of the breast cancer group in the study of the expression of protein P53 in breast cancer. Its positive expression rate was 59.6% which was higher than that of the benign breast tumor group 0%(0/16).There was significant difference between the breast cancer group and the benign breast tumor group about the expression of P53(P<0.01). In the study of the expression of p53 in animal's malignant tumor, 9 cases expressed p53 in 16 cases of the malignant tumor group. Its positive expression rate was 56.3%, In the study of the expression of p53 in benign tumor in animal, 0 cases expressed p53 in 6 cases of the benign tumor group. Its positive expression rate was 0%.35 cases expressed c-myc in 52 cases of the breast cancer group in the study of the expression of c-myc in breast cancer. Its positive expression rate was 67.3% which was higher than that of the benign breast tumor group 18.8%(3/16).There was significant difference between the breast cancer group and the benign breast tumor group about the expression of c-myc(P<0.01). In the study of the expression of c-myc in animal's malignant tumor, 11 cases expressed c-myc in16 cases of the malignant tumor group. Its positive expression rate was 68.8%, In the study of the expression of c-myc in benign tumor in animal, 1cases expressed c-myc in 6 cases of the benign tumor group. Its positive expression rate was 17%.In the study on the relativities of NO and the mutation of p53 in breast cancer, we found that the expression of iNOS was obviously correlated with the expression of P53 protein in breast cancer.In the study on the relativities of p53 and c-myc in breast cancer, we found that the expression of p53 was obviously correlated with the expression of c-myc in breast cancer.In the study of the expression of iNOS,p53 and c-myc in animal's tumor, the expression of iNOS,p53 and c-myc in animal's malignant tumor were significant higher than the benign breast tumor group .
