Objective To investigate the minimal invasive surgery for simultaneous treating synchronous colorectal liver metastasis. Methods The clinical data of 5 synchronous colorectal liver metastasis patients between March 2006 and June 2007 were retrospectively reviewed.Result 5 patients all underwent laparoscopic colorectal surgery. 1 case undergent open hepatectomy,1 case undergent laparoscopic-assisted hepatectomy,1 case undergent laparoscopic hepatectomy,1 case undergent laparoscopic hepatectomy + radio Radiofrequency ablation,1 case underwent multiple treatment.The mean operative time is 177min,the mean blood loss 126ml,the time of gastrointestinal function recovery is 48~72h,the mean hospital stay is 7days.In the follow-up of 10~24months for 5 patient there were 1 case of hepatic recurrence,1 case of death.Conclusions Simultaneous minimal invasive surgery is a optional and ideal method for treating synchronous colorectal liver metastasis.
