| Objective To improve the earlier diagnosis and treatment, clinical and laboratory data from seven patients with Wegener's Granulomatosis were evaluated.Methods Clincal and laboratory data were analyzed respectively in seven patients with Wegener's Granulomatosis.Results Among the 7 patients with WG,five had upper airway involvement, lung nodules was found in 5 patients and kidney injury in 4 patients.Sera from five of seven cases showed positive cANCA test. The pathological manifestation include 5 cases of necrotizing granulomatosis and one case of sclerosing glomerulonephritis. All seven cases were sensitive to corticosteroids and immunosuppressant therapy.Conclusion Clinical manifestation of WG is diverse.The upper and lower respiratory tract and kidney are the most commonly involved organs. ANCA assay can be help to confirm the diagnosis,The pathological manifestations include necrotizing granulomatosis and vasculitis. Corticosteroids and immunosuppressant are found effective in most patients. |
