Epilepsy(epilepsy)is a chronic recurrent syndrome of short brain dysfunction, characterized by the abnormal repeated epileptic seizures of the neurons,is the common reason of loss of consciousness.Epidemiological data shows that the general population of epilepsy incidence rate of 50 to 70/100,000,the prevalence rate of about 5‰, China's estimated there are about 6 million more than in patients with epilepsy, the annual incidence of epilepsy patients for 650,000~700,000. Clearly, epilepsy is a disease of the nervous system stroke after the second-largest common diseases.Epilepsy is a rule of the disease, most patients with good prognosis,long-term follow-up in recent years showed that 67 to 75 percent of patients can fully control seizures,of which about half of patients treated for a period of time after the withdrawal.Even so,but because of the impact of the disease and the side effects of drugs, the quality of life of patients with epilepsy, mental state has been affected to varying degrees, domestic and overseas studies have confirmed this point. With the medical model of change, epilepsy treatment should not only complete control of seizures, but also so that patients receive a higher quality of life or return to society.Pathogenesis of epilepsy has not known, there are several hypotheses, such as the substantia nigra, neurotransmitters, immune factors, genetic factors, such as neuropeptide in the role of epilepsy, including research that may be the mechanism is "nervous-immunity-endocrine network" Theory, the theory proposed in 1977 by Besedovsky.Zhu Changgeng first immune cells with a double and triple chemical markers in rats showed that before the brain, spinal cord and medulla in the estrogen receptor, metabotropic glutamate receptor and IL-2 in the same nerve cells in coexistence,Not only confirmed the nerve-immune-the presence of endocrine network, but this whole network, organ level to the level of cells. At present, the doctrine focused mainly on animal testing research. The pathway of Qi and the four seas theory are the important parts of meridian theory, basically the same as the two parts, are described in the meridian of gas and vertical contact channels between the horizontal links. The pathway of Qi theory on the treatment,Miraculous Pivot·Wei Qi has a detailed introduction. The pathway of Qi theory for the treatment of stasis by the Qi,Qi-inverse of the chaos created a line of thought, that is,in the "the pathway of Qi" treatment, and the smooth operation of qi and blood disease can be cured.Chinese medicine believes that epilepsy belongs to the brain, the disease can be summarized as wind,Qi, fire, sputum, blood stasis crowding meridian, which Qi-reverse chaos brain out of control and morbidity. If the application of the pathway of Qi theory, impose acupuncture,Qi-transfer machine, the Qi and blood, epilepsy can be more peaceful. But on the clinical use of the pathway of Qi theoretical guidance to the literature of acupuncture reported less, the use of epilepsy reported more uncommon.Based on this, this paper from the several aspects of the study:1 Purpose of the study:To observe the impact of acupuncture,"The Pathways of Qi" theory as a guide,on the quality of life in patients with epilepsy, depression, endocrine indicators.2 Research Methods2.1 Literature Study:Push this back to the ancient literature on epilepsy related, pathogenesis, and other aspects of the research literature. And acupuncture treatment of epilepsy in recent years on the possible mechanism and the mechanism of acupuncture for a System of progress in order to further explore "The Pathways of Qi" theoretical guidance of acupuncture on the clinical efficacy and its epilepsy mechanism laid a solid theoretical foundation.2.2 Clinical study:60 cases of epilepsy patients were randomly divided into needle-plus groups and drug group, all 30 cases. Both groups patients were taking conventional anti-epileptic drug valproate,needle-plus group treated with acupuncture, the main point for Renying(STg), Fengfu(DU16),Tianzhu(BL10).Scale were filled out before and after treatment and detection of plasma cortisol(CORT),estradiol(E2), progesterone(Prog),pituitary prolactin(PRL)level.3 Results3.1 Acupuncture,"The Pathways of Qi" theory as a guide, has stable theoretic basis and reliable efficacy both by research ancient and modern literatures.3.2 two groups of patients with EEG grade, the points of epilepsy and clinical effectsBoth groups patients with EEG grade, epilepsy points than before treatment difference was significant(P<0.05);no difference between groups was significant(P>0.05).The total efficiency of the two groups were 96.7 percent,by using the Ridit analysis,P>0.05,no difference between the two was significant. So effect of 2 groups are same, all of them can effectively control seizures.3.3 the impact of acupuncture,"The Pathways of Qi" theory as a guide, on the quality of life of patients with epilepsyAfter treatment, two groups of epilepsy in patients with the overall quality of life has improved significantly, compared in the two groups: "Memory" and "attention" and "Attack of the concerns" and "annoyance level" P<0.05,so acupuncture treatment in the improvement of the four have a more significant results.3.4 the impact of acupuncture,"The Pathways of Qi" theory as a guide, on the state of depression of patients with epilepsySelf-rating depression scale(SDS)score of drug group before and after treatment compared P=0.190,tips the difference was not significant; the needle-plus group score before and after treatment compared P=0.014, prompted score dropped significantly.Tip of acupuncture intervention on the score dropped a more significant result.Acupuncture can be considered in the treatment of depressive symptoms in patients with epilepsy have a clear effect, but without any side effects of acupuncture has the advantage.3.5 the impact of acupuncture,"The Pathways of Qi" theory as a guide, on the endocrine status of patients with epilepsyCompared to the drug group,CORT of needle-plus group has increased significantly(P=0.046),and E2,PRL and Prog are not different(P>0.05), so needle-plus group in effective control seizures at the same time, can better improve CORT level.4 ConclusionsAcupuncture under the guidance of the pathways of Qi theory can improve the quality of life of patients with epilepsy, significantly reducing SDS score, ease depression, and improve endocrine function in patients with epilepsy.
