Study On Quality Of Life Of Osteonecrosis Of Femoral Head By The Traditional Chinese Medicine And The Free Fibular Graft

ObjectiveAlthough application of invigorate Tongluo Shenggu Capsule and impacting graft and on strut graft in limited invasive way was treatment on ONFH had got satisfactory result and curative effect. But inclinical study, particular in evaluating clinical effect, researchers usually adopt subject feeling to assessment. When doctor formulating the standard of curative effect, they usually felt the standard was short of objective and standard because Chinese medicine was short of precise magnitude index. The standard was short of delineation as for feeling and mentation. Also the standard was short of reflection on sociality and correlaton factor. Survial quality scale will solve the fuzzification and chanciness of the Chinese medicine standard of curative effect. It can settle the groundwork for the clinical study on the Traditional Chinese and Surgery treatment. ONFH is a chronic disease with high mutilation rate. The goals of treatment are to relieve symptom and improve the acromegalic survival quality. When the prognosis of disease was only partly recovery, it was very significant to inspect the survival quality using with measuring scale.MethodOur study's focal point was invest the improvement of ONFH survival quality post treatment.The object were all from the first affiliated hospital of Guangzhou university of Traditional Chinses medicine who come to our hospital from January 2004 to December 2006.We select 72 cases of NONFH, divided into 2 groups randomly.The cases included 104 NONFH, 32 cases with double NONFH, 40 cases with single NONFH Two groups who was treatment with Tongluo Shenggu Capsule and impacting graft and on strut graft in limited invasive way are "Steroid group"and "Alcohol group". We invest the survival quality at one week before beginning treatment. The all cases overdose for 3 months.After 12 months we invested clinical curative effect and the survival quality scale .Then we analyzed the findings of survival quality scale.ResultAfter 12 months post-treatment, "Alcohol group" had 2 cases exited from the study because of the free fibular graft rejection and 2 cases losing. "Steroid group "had one case losing. The study had 72 cases completing the study. At the aspect of curative effect, "Alcohol group"' s total effective rate was 77.1%,the other group was 81.1%,with no significant difference(P>0.05) .It illustrated "Alcohol group" had the similar curative effect to "Steroid group". The two groups had significant difference at the aspects of role-physical-bodily pain and vitality between pretherapy and posttherapy. But between "Steroid group" and "Alcohol group" with no significant difference (P>0.05) ,It illustrated the efficacy of "Alcohol group" was similar to "Steroid group" at the aspects of role-physical and bodily pain.In the aspects of physiological functions, "Alcohol group" had significant difference between pretherapy and posttherapy. It had no significant difference between after 12 months (P>0.05). It illustrated that "Alcohol group" could improve role-physical. "Steroid group" had no significant difference between pretherapy and posttherapy(P > 0.05). Between "Alcohol group" and "Steroid group", "Alcohol group" had better effect than "Steroid group" at the aspect of role-physical. At the aspect of vitality, "Alcohol group" had significant difference between pretherapy and postherapy(P<0.05).It illustrated that "Alcohol group" could improve vitality. At the aspects of sentiment and functional authority,the two groups had significant difference(P<0. 05).It illustrated that "Alcohol group" had better effects on sentiment and functional arthority than "Steroid group".ConclusionThe study confirm that the effect of Chinese medicine named "Tongluo Shenggu Capsule"and impacting graft and on strut graft in limited invasive way in "Steroid group" was similar to "Alcohol group" at aspect of clinical curative effect.At aspect of improvement of survival quality scale, the two groups has similar effect by means of bodily pain. At the aspect of physical functioning, vitality and sentiment role-emotional, "Alcoholgroup "has better effect than "Steroid group".
