1,The study of the association between trace element and senile dementiaObjective:We aims at investigating the association between trace element and senile dementia,additionally discussing the effect of trace element in the pathophysiology on senile dementia.Method:We randomly selected 30 senile dementia cases satisfying the following conditions:(1)Being diagnosed as the senile dementia finally;(2)No other complications such as heart disease,hepatic disease and renal disease.At the same time,we chose 28 healthy patients as the control group.We measured 15 kinds of trace element by atomic emission spectrometry before the patients were treated,and analyzed the association between trace element and senile dementia.Result:The trace element aluminum is lower than the control group(aluminum2.267±0.459vs1.199±0.274,t=10.831,P<0.05),four kinds of trace element are higher than the control group(copper0.98±0.14vs1.15±0.18,t=-3.754,P<0.05;zinc 0.99±0.20vs1.12±0.16,t=-2.696,P<0.05;manganum 0.015±0.004vs0.018±0.003, t=-4.066,P<0.05;selenium 0.070±0.007vs0.080±0.008,t=-4.601,P<0.05), the other trace element has a little differences with the control group,but the differences have no statistics meaning(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The level of trace element in human beings has the association with the senile dementia.2.The level of serum aluminum is higher than the control group. The level of serum copper,zinc,manganum,selenium is lower than the control group.2,The study of the association between trace element and depressive disorderObjective:We aims at investigating the association between trace element and depressive disorder,additionally discussing the effect of trace element in the pathophysiology on depressive disorder.Method:We randomly selected 41 depressive disorder cases satisfying the diagnostic code from CCMD—3and ICD—10.At the same time,we chose 21 healthy patients as the control group.We measured 14 kinds of trace element by atomic emission spectrometry before the patients were treated,and analyzed the association between trace element and depressive disorder.Result:Two kinds of trace element are higher than the control group(ferrum 1.826±0.51 vs 1.505±0.4,t=2.512,P<0.05;copper1.26±0.21 vs 1.13±0.18,t= 2.416,P<0.05).The trace element zinc is lower than the control group(zinc0.97±0.21 vs 1.13±0.28,t=-2.530,P<0.05),the other trace element has a little differences with the control group,but the differences have no statistics meaning(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The level of trace element in human beings has the association with the depressive disorder.2.The level of serum ferrum,copper is higher than the control group.The level of serum zinc is lower than the control group.
