[Objective]1.To describe the concentration of the zinc, iron, copper, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, calcium, lead and theirs features.2.To study the influence of gender, age, smoking and residential area on the blood lead;3.To study the interaction of the zinc, iron, copper, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, calcium and lead in healty adult blood.4.To build the normal reference ranges of zinc, iron, copper, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, calcium5.To develop a method for direct determination of Ca, Fe, Zn,Cu, Mn, Se, Mo and Pb in adult whole blood by microwave digested-inductively coup led plasma mass spectrometry.[Method]1.Trace elements in whole blood degested by microwave were detected by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.2. Rigorous internal QC procedures was established through the following approaches: standard materials were used and quality control maps were built in determinating process. Standard reference materials were determinated and the agreement between the two results for mean values of selected elements was good.3.The study population consisted of men and women chosen at random from the popution register. Samples for element analysis were obtained from 312 participants(149 men, 163women) after physical test in the three towns. 4.The statistical calculations were performed using the SPSS software v.11.5.5. For the trace element material according with normal disdribution, thereference value is from X -1.96S to X+1.96S. For material according with partial disdribution, the reference value is from P2.5 to P97.5.[Conclusion]1.The detection of limit was good, the RSD less than 2.2% , and the results of analyzing standard materiel were satisfactory. This method is simple, sensitive and accurate, and can be used to determine Ca, Fe, Zn,Cu, Mn, Se, Mo and Pb in adult whole blood.2. The total range of trace elements in healthy adult blood of Dirstric Licang is Ca(41.4-64.7mg/L), Fe(369-567mg/L),Zn(3.23-6.62mg/L),Cu(0.602-1 .068mg/L), Mn(5.5-46.3μg/L),Mo(0.22-3.54μg/L),Se(62.2-143.1μg/L),Pb(19.3-363.0μg/L).3.The concentration of blood lead was most strongly influenced by gender, age and smoking.4.A significant negatively correlation was present between lead and selenium, calcium and iron, calcium and zinc, calcium and manganese, calcium and lead in whloe blood of men. But iron was positively associated with concentions of zinc as well al molybdenum and manganese.Blood selenium was positively correlated with concentions of zinc in whloe blood of women as well as molybdenum and manganese, selenium and manganese. But blood calcium was negatively correlated with concentrations of iron as well as calcium and copper, calcium and lead.5. The normal reference ranges of trace elements in whole blood is Ca(46.9-61.1mg/L),Se(63.3-134.5μg/L),Zn(4.33-6.41mg/L),Fe(386.1-546.5mg/L),Cu(0.614-0.970mg /L) for men; Ca(43.1-64.5mg/L),Se(65.6-135.8μg/L),Zn(3.52-5.52mg/L), Fe(386.6-492.5mg/L),Cu(0.694-1 .030mg/L) for women; Mn(6.08-28.34μg/L), Mo(0.22-1.54μg/L) for men and women.
