Objective:To investigate the relationships between the clinical stage together with pathology hierarchical and CD24 expression in human primary hepatocellular Carcinoma(HCC) cells.Methods: The CD24 expression of 80 cases of human primary hepatocelluler carcinomas were analysed by MaxVisionTM rapid immunohistochemistry.Results:1 CD24 is highly expressed in the cytoplasm of HCC cells and lowly expressed in liver cells 2cm far away from the edge of tumors. CD24 in primary hepatocellular carcinoma cells in the liver was significantly higher than that in normal cells, CD24 expression and primary hepatocellular carcinoma is closely related.χ2 test, P = 0.00. (P<0.05).2 CD24 expression and AJCC / TNM staging.We find that :there are no relationships between the expression of CD24 and clinical stages, Theχ2 test, P = 0.38, P >0.05 . The clinical staging of CD24 expression are significant different in constituent ratio. PhaseⅠ/Ⅱ, the lower the positive expression of CD24 is ,the higher the positive rate.And the PhaseⅢ/Ⅳis opposive to the PhaseⅠ/Ⅱ.χ2 test, P = 0.01,(P<0.05).3 CD24 expression and the primary hepatocellular carcinoma WH0 pathological grading system at the basis of the Emondson-Steiner grade.They are closely related. Namely: the higher the pathological grade (the lower the degree of differentiation) is,the higher the expression of CD24. Rank test, P = 0.02, (P <0.05). The constituent ratio of CD24 expression in tumor grades is of significant difference. In well-differentiated cases,the low and moderate expression is dominent.In mid- differentiated cases, the lower the positive expression of CD24 is , the higher the positive rate . The poor-differentiated is opposite to the mid-differentiated.P=0.00,(P <0.05).Conclusion:1 CD24 expression in primary hepatocellular carcinoma cells in the liver was significantly higher than that 2cm far away from the edge of tumors. CD24 expression and primary hepatocellular carcinoma are closely related.2 There are no relationship between CD24 expression and clinical stages.The constituent ratio of CD24 expression in tumor stages is of significant differences.3 CD24 expression and primary hepatocellular carcinoma WH0 pathological grading system at the basis of the Emondson-Steiner grade are closely related to the pathological grade. Namely: the higher the pathological grade (the lower the degree of differentiation) is,the higher the expression of CD24.The constituent ratio of CD24 expression in tumor grades is of significant differences.
