Objective:The purpose was to detect the effect of OGP upon the proliferation and differentiation of the osteoblast cells on the surface of the implants in vitro,to give some suggestions to the next studies in vitro. Methods:Human osteoblast cells MG63 was cultured in vitro, then seeded them on the surface of the Tiatanium disc, added different density of OGP (10-10,10-9,10-8,10-7mol/L), collected the cell samples after 1,3,5,7 days, and detected the cell proliferation by MTT means; meanwhile, detected the expression of ALP in the cells after 3,7,10,14 days. At last, compared the results with each other and the control group (no OGP).Results:The results of the detection of cell proliferation indicated that OGP at the rang of 10-10—10-7mol/L can promote the proliferation of the osteoblast cells on the surface of the Tiatanium disc when compared with the control group (P<0.05), and when the concentration was 10-9mol/L, the proliferation activity was the most powerful. The results of the detection of ALP showed that OGP at the rang of 10-10—10-7mol/L can stimulate the ALP activity compared with the control group, and when the concentration was 10-8mol/L, the effect was the most significant. Conclusion:At the rang of 10-10—10-7mol/L, OGP can promote the proliferation and differentiation of the osteoblast cells on the surface of the Tiatanium disc, and they both have their own maximum effective concentration.
