Objective To study the level of anti-cardiolipin antibodies(ACA)and beta-Human chorionic gonadotropins (β-HCG)in serum of gravidas with premature delivery, premature rupture of membrane and pre-eclampsiaon late pregnancy stage and the relationship between their level and the neonate' s condition in order to search for the clinical value. Methods ACA andβ-HCG in serum were evaluated in 136 health women, including 30 normal pregnancy(group A)and 106 pathological pregnancy(group B).Group B include group B1(30 tPROM);group B2(18 premature labor);group B3 (22 pPROM)and group B4(36 eclampsism). The level of ACA andβ-HCG was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)and electrochemi luminescence immunoassay (ECLIA),and the comparison of neonate' s condition was performed. After parturition,we studied the placenta and compared the diference between group A and group B.Results ACA andβ- HCG level in serum of gravidas with premature delivery, premature rupture of membrane and pre-eclampsia was significantly higher than that of normal gravidas(P<0.05).Neonate' s weight, length and Apgar score in normal gravidas had significant difference with those of premature delivery,PROM and pre-eclampsia (P<0.01).In group B,gravidas have significant placentopathy and neonatal disorder when ACA andβ- HCG level in serum were higher than two times of median. Conclusions The level of ACA andβ-HCG in serum of gravida can be used as indexes to predict pathological pregnancy. They are also sensitive indexes for reflecting abnormal placenta function and affect neonate' s growth.
