Objective:①To assess the feasibility and safety of a new inhaled oxygen technique with an endoscopic full facial mask in the painless gastroscopy and compare with the pantients who were inhaled oxygen with snuffle tube.②To evaluate the combination of inhalational induction with fiberoptic intubation through a specific facial mask for anticipated difficult tracheal intubation (DI) in adults.Methods:①Sixty patients received painless gastroscopy were divided into two groups randomly. The group T(n=30) was inhaled oxygen with endoscopic facial mask , the group C(n=30) was inhaled oxygen with snuffle tube. Before operation ,all patients were given intravenous injection sublimaze 0.05mg followed by propofol 2.5mg/kg within 20~50s.The SPO2,SBP,DBP ,HR and operation time of patients were recorded and analyzed between two groups with SPSS.②Fiberoptic bronchoscopy was performed through a Fibroxy mask. BP, HR, SpO2, RR were recorded. The results were analyzed by Newman-Keuls test. Results :①The SPO2 of group C decreased markedly during and after operation(P<0.05),but in group T without any great changes in the indexes(p>0.05). There indicated non- significant difference between two groups of operation time,SBP,DBP and HR (P>0.05).②All cases were successful.Conclusion∶①The application of inhaled oxygen technique with an endoscopic facial mask in the painless gastroscopy appeared safer than that of inhaled oxygen with snuffle tube .②The applied ascendancy of fiberoptic bronchoscopy with endoscopic mask in difficult endotracheal intubation appeared easy, fast and safe.
