The Expression And Significance Of CD44v6 On Serum In Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective:To examine the expression of CD44v6 on serum in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis(RA)and analyze the relevance between CD44v6 and activity indexes of RA.To exploration the association of CD44v6 and RA,and to be provide to the pathogenesis of RA,the judgement of pathogenetic condition and the new treatment.Methods:70 cases of patients with RA and 30 cases of AS control group were obtained to First Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou University from 2008.4 to 2007.10.The healthy control group came from the health examination people of First Affiliated Hospital of Suzhou University.The subjects were divided into four groups:RA Activities Section 35 cases,RA mitigation group 35 cases,ankylosing spondylitis(AS) control group 30cases,the healthy control group,all 30 cases,at the same time record of all RA patients with clinical and laboratory indicators:pain score,early morning stiffness,the number of joint tenderness and arthrocele,The index of joint tenderness and arthrocele,health assessment questionnaire(HAQ),rheumatoid factor(RF), anti-citrulline antibody(CCP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein (CRP),X-ray stage hands,Disease activity score(DAS),and so on.To test sCD44v6 of all subjects by ELISA,compare four groups of the differences between sCD44v6 level, and analyze the correlation between sCD44v6 and every index of RA.Results:The levels of sCD44v6 on serum,in active group were higher than remissive group,AS control group and the healthy control group;The levels of sCD44v6 on serum in remissive group and AS control group were higher than the healthy control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05),and there was no significant difference in the remissive group and AS(P＞0.05).The levels of sCD44v6 inⅠperiod,Ⅱperiod,Ⅲperiod andⅣperiod of X-ray in RA patients were of no significant difference(P＞0.05).The correlation was positive between sCD44v6 and pain score,early morning stiffness,the number of joint tenderness and arthrocele,The index of joint tenderness and arthrocele,the patient/doctor comprehensive evaluation, X-ray stage,HAQ,DAS,RF,ESR,CCP is a correlation,and no correlation with the CRP.Conclusion:The levels of sCD44v6 on serum in active group were increased significantly,suggesting that sCD44v6 may be involved in the RA disease and the development.The correlation was positive between sCD44v6 and activity index, suggesting that sCD44v6 level to a certain extent,reflect the activities of RA disease.
