A Study On The Relationship Between Interleukin-13 And Virus Hepatitis

Objective:To investigate the serum level of Interleukin-13(IL-13)in virus B hepatitis patients and the relationship between IL-13 and hepatic function index,regeneration as well as prognosis.Methods:The serum level of IL-13 in 120 patients with viral hepatitis and 10 individual(control group)was detected by ELISA technology.Results:(1)The serun average level of IL-13 of 60 patients with chronic viral hepatitis,20 patients with cirrhosis of liver and 23 patients with chronic hepatitis gravis was higher than of the healthy individual(P=0.000).(2)There was difference in serum level of IL-13 among the chronic hepatitis gravis patients:Serum IL-13 level in valid group was more elevated than in healthy individual(P=0.000),serum IL-13 level in invalid group was more elevated than in healthy individual,too(P=0.000).At convalescence,the serum level of IL-13 in the valid group of patients with chronic hepatitis gravis were significance more elevated than initial stages(P=0.000).The serum level of IL-13 in the invalid group of patients with chronic hepatitis gravis were more decreased prior to discharge or die(P=0.006).(3)In group with chronic viral hepatitis,the serum IL-13 level have no relationship with the serum level of ALT,AST,TBIL,TP, ALB and PT;and in group with chronic hepatitis grayis,the serum level of IL-13 also have no relationship with the serum level of ALT,TBIL,TP and PT.But the serum level of IL-13 was positive correlation with AST(rs=0.569,P=0.005)and AST(rs=0.568,P=0.005).Conclusions:1.There was difference among the serum IL-13 level in viral hepatitis patients with various clinic types.2.In a sense,the serum IL-13 level can reflect the state of hepatocyte injury.3.Perhaps The serum IL-13 level will become a useful prognosis index in chronic hepatitis gravis patients.4.IL-13 will be a way to use for treatment with chronic hepatitis gravis in the future.
