An Analysis And Study On The Ill Patters During The Activity Period Of Patients With Ankylosing Spondylitis

Up to today,numerous researchers have focused their study on the following three aspects:1.distribution of Ankylosing Spondylitis Chinese medical patterns;2. the respective relation between the distribution with the ill severity,and the distribution with ill stages;3.the age distribution features of Ankylosing Spondylitis during the activity period while no study on the ill patterns,gender,age range,season and their interaction distribution features during the activity period of patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis has been made.This study,for which reference is made to the "Clinical Research Guiding Principle of Ankylosing Spondylitis Treatment by the Use of Chinese Medical New Medicine",divides Ankylosing Spondylitis into five Chinese Medical patterns: humid and heat blockage syndrome,cold hygrosis syndrome,stagnant blood syndrome,kidney-YANG insufficient,liver and kidney insufficient syndrome.136 Chinese medical dialectical analysis on patients catering to the diagnosis standards of Ankylosing Spondylitis and ill severity judge standard during activity period has been carried out.The 136 patients' gender,age range and ill invasion season have been record and their interaction distribution features have been studied.Software SPSS 11.0 is applied to statisticise the result.Through statistical analysis the following are noticed:1.the difference of distribution of ill pattern between stagnant blood syndrome and kidney-YANG insufficient has no statistical significance while that of other syndromes has statistical significance;2.the difference of season distribution between the Spring with the Winter,the Spring with the Autumn and the Summer with Autumn has no statistical significance while that of the Spring with the Summer and the Winter with the Summer has statistical significance;3.the difference of age range distribution between each age range has statistical significance;4.the difference of gender distribution between two genders has statistical significance;5.the difference of season and age range distribution between humid and heat blockage syndrome with liver and kidney insufficient syndrome of Ankylosing Spondylitis common ill patterns has no statistical significanee;6.the difference of gender distribution between humid and heat blockage syndrome,cold hygrosis syndrome and liver and kidney insufficient syndrome has no statistical significance.Based on the above-mentioned statistical discovery,the following conclusions are achieved:1.among the ill patterns of Ankylosing Spondylitis during activity period humid and heat blockage syndrome is the most commonest,followed by liver and kidney insufficient syndrome while cold hygrosis syndrome is very rare and both kidney-YANG insufficient and stagnant blood syndrome are seldom seen;2.the activity period of Ankylosing Spondylitis falls mainly in the Spring,the Autumn and the Winter while it rarely occur in the Summer;3.Ankylosing Spondylitis activity period patients happen more in age range 21-30;4 Ankylosing Spondylitis activity period patients happen more in male than female;5.no striking discrepancy appears respectively in regard to season and age range distribution of humid heat blockage syndrome liver and kidney insufficient syndrome;6 Ankylosing Spondylitis activity period patients happen more in male than female of humid heat blockage syndrome liver,cold hygrosis syndrome and kidney insufficient syndrome.
