Effects Of Broncho-alveolar Lavage With The Hedysarum Ploybotrys Hand-Mazz Promote On The Arterial Blood Gases In Rabbit Models With Pneumococcus Pneumonia

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Broncho-alveoIar lavage with the extract of Hedysarum Ploybotrys Hand-Mazz on the arterial blood gas in rabbits with pneumococcus pneumonia at different times before and after,and to evaluate the safety and efficacy.MethodsFirst,injected the rabbits with CTX(Cyclophosphamide)30mg/kg/d and Dexamethasone 2mg/kg/d total up 4 days.In the 6^thday,Ketamine and Valium were Injected into the pneumococcus pneumonia rabbits,and then,when the rabbits were anesthetized,2×10⁹CUF pneumococci was injected into the trachea by intratracheal injection,then the rabbit models with pneumococcus pneumonia were established.Secondly,there were 16 rabbits with pneumococcus pneumonia were established 3 days later.The rabbits were randomized into two groups which the Broncho-alveoIar lavage with the Hedysarum Ploybotrys Hand-Mazz extract group included 8 rabbits and the Broncho-alveoIar lavage with Normal Saline group included 8 rabbits.The rabbits for Tracheal intubation and Broncho-alveoIar lavage to be observe the espect of PaO₂.PaCO₂,BE,PH at different time,such as before established model and lung lavage,30 minute and one day after lung lavage,Third,the database was established with the SPSS 13.0 statistics software,statistical analysis,and the effect of the extract of Hedysarum Ploybotrys Hand-Mazz treatment group and Normal Saline control group were compared.ResultsOne day after the lung lavage,PaO₂ dramatically improved in two groups (P＜0.01=.And Broncho-alveoIar lavage with the Hedysarum Ploybotrys Hand-Mazz promote group was improved more then Normal Saline group(P＜0.05 =.There was statistic difference in PaO₂ between two groups.There was not statistic difference in PaCO₂,BE,PH before the rabbit model with pneumococcus pneumonia were established,before lung lavage,30 minute after Broncho-alveoIar lavage,one day after Broncho-alveolar lavage(P＞0.05).ConclusionBroncho-alveolar lavage with the Hedysarum Ploybotrys Hand-Mazz promote was better then that with Normal Saline to improve PaO₂.
