Objective: To discuss the distribution in the most common 21 genotypes of Human Papillomavirus(HPV) in Cervical carcinaoma in Xin jiang Uygur and Han women. Methods: Paraffin- embedded tissues of 200 patients with cervical carcinaoma(including 123 Uygurs and 77 Hans) were tested for genotypes HPV by flow-through hybridization and gene chip(HybriMax). Results: (1) 119 samples were found positive in 200 paraffin- embedded tissues of cervical carcinaoma,the positive result was 95.5%. and 96.75% HPV positive for Uygurs(119/123) and 93.51% for Hans(72/77). (2) The HPV positive single infection result was 85.7% and multiple infection result was 14.29% for Uygurs; The single infection result was 86.11% and multiple infection result was 20.83% for Hans.(3)10 high risk genotypes and 3 common ones for chinese were found .In in 200 paraffin- embedded tissues of cervical carcinaoma,the most common 5 genotypes were( in descending order) : HPV16(77.31%), 58(5.46%), 18(4.2%), 31(4.2%), 52(2.94%). HPV16, HPV 58, HPV 18, HPV 52, HPV 31 for Uygur, HPV 68; HPV 16, HPV 31, HPV 58, HPV 18, HPV 52, HPV 68 for Han. Conclusion: The former is mainly associated with single infection in Cervical carcinaoma in Xin jiang Uygur and Han women.The primary genotype is HPV16.In the HPV infection genotype distrbution,the xinjiang cervical carcinaoma HPV genotype and the domestic other areas compare have the regional disparity and between Uygur and Han .The HPV genotype also has the nation difference.
