Objective: To explore the prognostic factors of Non-small cell lung cancer after radical surgery. Methods:Clinical data of 194 cases of Non-small cell lung cancer patients, underwent radical surgery from Jan,2001 to Jan,2005 were retrospectively analized. The patients were follwed up till Jan,1 2008.Survival rate were calculated by Kaplan-Meier method. The Prognosis was analyzed by Cox proportional hazards model. Results:The 3-year survial rate of 194 patients was 62.7%,and the median survial time was 67.8 months.Univariate analysis showed that pathological stage, tumor size, pneumonoresection method, differentiation, mediastinal lymph node dissection methods, chemotherapy were prognostic factors.Multivariate analyses showed that pathological stage, tumor size, differentiation, mediastinal lymph node dissection methods, chemotherapy were independent prognostic factors. Conclusion:System mediastinal lymph node dissection can significantly improve the 3-year survial rate of NSCLC patients after radical surgery better than selective mediastinal lymph node dissection, especially to the stageII and stageIII(p<0.05).Chemotherapy can improve the 3-year survial rate.Chemotherapy cycle should be at least 4 cycle.Radiotherapy can not show the survival advantage to NSCLC after radical surgery.
