Objective: The appraisal of percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) to treat the ureter upside stone the curative effect. Methods: From August 2005 to February 2008, Analysing clinical data of patients with upper ureteral calculi underwent percutaneous nephrolithotomy in 49 cases retrospectively. And the use standard channel takes the stone 30 cases, uses micro makes the fistula channel to take the stone 19 cases, The operation time,hospital stay, the stone clearance rate,complications and so on, Generalized analysis its good and bad points and applicable scope.Results: In all cases, successful lithotomy was achieved in the first stage of treatment.In micro makes the fistula channel group and the standard channel group,the stone clearance rate was 94.7% and 83.3% respectively:the cases which needed intraoperative blood transfusion were 1 and 1 cases, while remaining 1 cases underwent theembolization of renal artery with DSA due to hemorrhage.
