| Objective To evaluate the quality of strictly on the basis for albendazole Hepatic echinococcosis of a systematic evaluation of clinical efficacy. Finally a study showed that the emulsion albendazole tablets and the cure rate and the recent long-term cure rate had a significant difference, respectively [OR = 0.22,95% CI (0.08,0.57)] and [OR 0.81,95% CI = (0.33,0.73)]. Conclusions 1. Albendazole and mebendazole treatment efficacy similar HCE 2. Albendazole treatment and joint surgery compared to treatment with surgery alone, albendazole treatment course should be long enough (three months) will be show the superiority of combination therapy, 3. albendazole tablets effective than the emulsion. However, the evaluation system included in the pilot and a few small number of cases, not a comprehensive measurement indicators, it will affect the strength of the above conclusions. HCE to determine the effectiveness of albendazole treatment will be needed to carry out more high-quality tests.
