In this paper, we take the nature-funded project "the photoelectric fractional examination theories and methods of physical characteristics of particles in urine" of the Office of Jiangsu Provincial Education as the background and base on the studies about "the research in theory and technology of measuring the character of particles". First, we studied the theory and technology about examination of urinary sediments, analyzed the visible components and the shape of each component as well as its mechanism of formation in normal urinary sediments and pathological conditions; Secondly, based on the application difference in Rayleigh- debye- Gans theory and CEM model, we established the MCEM (modify co-central ellipse model)to eliminate the influence of the orientation effect of the shape-cell particles on measurement result in light scattering cell particles. According to the MCEM theory, we discussed the dynamic response relationship between the light-scatting intensity distribution and relevant physical characteristic of the karyocyte at the different incidence angles. In addition, the light scattering distribution function of karyotas is obtained by fitting the scattering intensity distribution . Thirdly, we established the distribution function of particles' characters of urinary sediments, which presents the character of particles not only in size but also in shape. We also analyzed the inversion calculation method of power spectrum of light scatting and put forward the shape's modification theory based on the modified Mei theory and the probability theory At last ,a new method is derived, which can detect the shape and the size of particles according to the perturbation method .So far, the accuracy of measurement of the particles' size has been improved effectively.The paper includes six chapters: Chapter one introduced the development history of examination of urinary sediments in the world, the meaning of this paper and the main researching work of us; Chapter two referred the main categories of visible components of urinary sediments; Chapter three proposed the MCEM and discussed systematically the varying scattering distribution of the cell particles under different scattering incidence angles of the cells ;Chapter four defined the distribution function of particles' shape and size to describe the character of visible components of urinary sediments; Chapter five set up a method of which the distribution of particles' shape of urinary sediments can be detected according to the ameliorating perturbation method; chapter six concluded above researches and presented an advanced representation in study urinary sediment.
