| Objective:To detect Flu A,Flu B,RSV,ADV and PIV-IgM of serums of adult acute upper respiratory tract virus infections in Hefei, and to identify RSV subtype. Methods: A total of 158 patients with acute respiratory tract infection were studied. The Flu A, Flu B,RSV,ADV and PIV-â… ,â…¡,â…¢-IgM were detected by ELISA,then the samples of RSV-IgM positive were identified by cell culture and Nested RT-PCR respectively. Results:Virus was identified in 133 patients,to deal with 133 cases of IgM positive statistically, among the 133 cases there were 122 of mono-IgM positive, and 11 cases of double IgM positive. The most prevalent was Flu A(51),followed by RSV(34),Flu-B (21),ADV(14),PIV-â… ,â…¡,â…¢,(13) and mixed viral infection 8 cases. The seasonal change of Flu A and Flu B was more obvious. The peak of Flu A and Flu B appeared from December to February in 2006 and 2007.All samples of 34 RSV-IgM positive were vaccinated in Hep-2 cells, the results of observation were 12 cases of CPE.And all samples of 34 RSV-IgM positive were treated by Nested RT-PCR,producing 25 cases of objective gene amplification:15 cases of 250bp(RSV-A),10 cases of 341bp (RSV-B).Conclusions:Viral infections were universal phenomenon in adult acute upper respiratory tract infections. The seasonal change of Flu A and Flu B was more obvious in Hefei,in winter mainly. There were no obvious seasonal changes of ADV, PIV-â… ,â…¡,â…¢and RSV.The RSV infections were RSV-A mainly in Hefei, meanwhile mixed RSV-B.Nested RT-PCR was a kind of respirovirus detection with higher sensitivity and specificity. |
