Clinical Study On Microminiature Water Balloon Combined Rectum Misoprostol In Planned Labour Induction

Objective: To study the efficiency and safety of microminiature water balloon combined rectum Misoprostol in planned labour induction.Methods: 305 primiparas with planned labour induction were divided into three group.The study group (n = 99) was given microminiature water balloon combined rectum misoprostol .The misoprostol group(n = 96) was given rectum misoprostol . The oxytocin group (n=110) was given oxytocin in a continuous infusion . Their results were taken a comparative study , including the cervical ripening , delivery process, delivery ways the condition of the newborn.Results : The study group was better than other groups for cervical ripening . Time from in induction to the onset of regular contraction activity of the uterus in study group was significantly shorter than other groups (p<0.05). The rates of caesarean section and the total stage of labour between the study and misoprostol group were not statistically significant , but there were significant difference than oxytocin group .There was no significant diffenences among the group in neonatal asphyxia and amount of blood loss in postpartum.Conclusion: The efficiency of microminiature water balloon combined rectum misoprostol in planned labour in duction was better than other groups . It has a short delivery process and shows no side effects on both mother and fetus, which is worthy of polularizing in obstetrics.
