Expression Of Maspin And TAp63 In Bladder Transitional Cell Cancer (BTCC) And Its Clinical Significance.

Objective: To explore the expression of TAP63 and Maspin in bladder transitional cell cancer(BTCC) and its clinical significance.Method: The immunohistochemical SP technique was conducted to detect expression of TAp63 and Maspin in 80 cases of BTCC. And RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of maspin mRNA and TAp63 mRNA in 15 cases of BTCC. The relationships among TAp63 expression, Maspin expression,pathological types and clinical stages of BTCC were also analyzed.Result: The maspin expression of G1 and G2 phases were significantly higher than that of G3 phase (p<0.05),The Maspin expression of Ta-T1 stages of BTCC were significantly higher than that of Maspin T2-T4 stages (p<0.05),TAp63 expression decreased significantly as the clinical stages and pathological grades(p<0.05),Maspin protein expression was in correlation with TAp63 expression.Maspin expression was positive to TAp63.Conclusion: The expresson of TAp63 and Maspin in BTCC were correlated with pathological types and clinical stages of BTCC,Maspin and TAp63 may participant in occurrence and development of BTCC,which may be parameters for understanding the biological behavior of BTCC.
