Objective: To investigation the diagnosis significance of gluocose-6-phosphate isomerase(G6PI)detected by ELISA in patients with rheumatoidarthritis(RA). (2)To compare the correlation of the G6PI and anti-CCP andIgM rheumatoid factor(RF).(3)To analysis the relation of G6PI withpathogentic condition activity index.(4)To contrast the relation of 6GPIand anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody (anti-CCP),RF,Antikeratinantibodies(AKA) with anticular erosion。Material and Methods: The G6PI was detected by an enzyme linkedimmunosorbent assay (ELISA) in serum sample from 106 patient withRA,53 non-RA control with various rheumatic disease, and healthyIndividual. The level of RF, anti-CCP antibodies and were alse assay in RApatients. The correlatin analysis a beween G6PI and anti-CCP, IgM-RF(rheumatoid factor). G6PI, anti-CCP,IgM-RF and AKA were conmaparebetween patient with erosion and with non-erosion disease.Reluts: (1)G6PI serum level in patients with RA were 1.611±1.196ug/ml,and were 0.106±0.174 in other rheumatoid disease ,and 0.056±0.086ug/ml in healthy individual. There are significant statistic differences betweenpatient and other rheumatoid disease. (P<0.05) Receiver operator curveanalysis(ROC) showed an opitium cut off level for G6PI at 0.225ul/ml.Thesensitivity of G6PI was 0.868,the specificity was 0.853 in RA.G6PI is association with RF, but not not association with anti-CCP.G6PI were notassociated with disease activity index by spearman correlation analysis.Theassociation between above parameters with bone erosion was notdetected, however. Conclusion:The G6PI that abnormally increased in some RA may beto a new disgnostic marker in RA.G6PI presents a reasonable sensitivity with(86.8%)with high specificity(85.3%) to RA and it is valuable to RAdiagnosis.G6PI is association with RF, but not completely overlaps them.G6PIis not associated with diseases activity index. No associtionnn is foundbetween G6PI and bone erosion.
