Epilepsy is a complicated neurology syndrome. Poststroke epilepsy is a mainly cause of the aged epilepsy. It influences the recovery prognosis of stroke. Through observing the clinical characteristic of poststroke epilepsy we find that the incidence rate of epilepsy after hemorrhagic stroke was higher than that of epilepsy after ischemic stroke, early seizure after hemorrhagic stroke was more than that of ischemic strokeand epilepsy after stroke whose focus was in cortex was more than that in subcortex;Through detecting the serum level of neurotransmitters like amino acids we find that the serum concentration of Glu Asp GABA was increased in group of seizure after stroke while the concentration of Gly Ala was decreased; Through 1H-MRS inspection we find the level of metabolins as NAA Cr Cho is lower in diseased region than in the noemal opposite side, thereby we analyze aggregately and search for the pathogenesy of epilepsy after stroke to provide evidence to clinical precaution and treatment of epilepsy after stroke.
