Objective: To identify the significance of the sagittal parameters in isthmic spondyloisthesis and the influence of operation. Methods: To analysis the sagittal parameters of 76 cases with L5 isthmic spondyloisthesis and 30 health adults. Results: There was very significant differences between before operative and after operative cases of spondyloisthesis in LL,SS,LSA and degree of slip (P<0.01). There were the same outcome in before operative cases of spondyloisthesis and health adults group (P<0.01). There was no significant differences in after operative cases of spondyloisthesis and health adults group (P>0.05). There was no difference between before operative and after operative cases of spondyloisthesis in PI, but there was very significant difference between cases of spondyloisthesis and health adults group(P<0.05). There were obvious correlation coefficients in PI,LL,LSA and degree of slip(P<0.001). There was no correlation coefficients between SS and degree of slip (P>0.05). There were obvious correlation coefficients among PI,LL,SS(P<0.001).Conclusion:1.PI and LSA were predictive of spondylolisthetic progression. 2. LSA and degree of slip conduce to predict and evaluate the effect of operation, and better guide for therapy.
