Objective: To evaluate the effect and adverse reaction of Paclitaxel Combined with Cisplatin for patients with IV degree Cervical Cancer. Methods: A retrospective study was carried out on 30 patient with IV degree Cervical Cancer to our hospital from 2000 to March 2006, 20 cases with IV degree cervical cancer were treated with paclitaxel followed by cisplatin(TP regimen). 10 cases with IV degree cervical cancer were treated with PVB, Treatment repeated every four weeks, after two treatments the effects were evaluated. Stage effective cases were continued by the therapy from one to three stage. Results: The all effective rates were 70%(CR, 30%; PR, 40%) of TP group, and the all effective rates were 20%(CR, 0%; PR, 20%) of PVB group, the effective of two groups showed significantly, however adverse reaction of two groups showed no significance. The side effects of TP regimen included myelosuppression,digestive reaction,alopecia and pain of muscle or links. Conclusion: TP regimen had a good shout recently response for cases with IV degree cervical cancer, and maybe improved to the quality of life. Multi- treatments chemotherapy can be improved by prognosis.
