SubsistenceThirty-one patients were followed up,12 out of 31 postoperative patients died of metastasis and recurrence,7 out of the 21 patients who undergone total tumor resection suffered from recurrence, relapse rate is 33.3%,and median time of relapse was 7 months. Conclusion1.Cellular morphology and immunohistochemical staining are necessary for the diagnosis of GIST.2.Spiral CT can be aid to preoperative diagnosis of GIST.3.Flether classification is useful guide for clinical and prognosis prediction.4.Surgical resection of GIST after Treatment with Imatinib provides a new treatment of GIST.
