Study Of Sustained Release Ointment For Periodontitis Therapy

Periodontitis is inflammation in gum. Local Sustained release ointment is suitable for thetherapy of Periodontitis. In this study, TNZ is chosed as the model medicine, and the Susta-ined release ointment system of Carbopol,EC and EC,β-CD were screened. First theSustained release ointment system were maked,and then the ointments were optimized byin-vitro release with the Standard of 1,3,7 release are 30％,40-50％and 60-80％. And thevarious factors which influence the sustained-release of ointment are studied. Orthogonalproject is employed to screen the prescriptions which based on the study of TNZ-factorexperiment. Verification experiments about the released rate of optimized prescription aredone.The results showed that the released rate of sustained-release ointment at 1h,3h,7h was25％,45％and 70％respectively,and the ointment has good Rheological property.Simultaneously the ointment has good Serviceability in several different molecular weightdrug. Accelerate test of six months was done,the ointment has good Stability,the ointmenthas not remarkable change in content and in-vitro release. It has few reports aboutdevelopment of sustained-release ointment in china. So it is a original study.The resultsstudied show that it is a good foundation of new delivery system which is used in orallocation.
