Study the character and significance of CDT1 expression by collecting the paraffin sections of normal hepatic tissues, HBsAg positive HCC tissues and HBsAg negative HCC tissues from East Hepatobiliary Hospital affiliated Second Military Medical University. In the research we observed CDT1 is strongly expressed in human normal hepatic tissue. And it locates in cytoplasm, The expression of CDT1 in HBsAg positive HCC tissue is obviously attenuated compared with the normal hepatic tissue, is negative or weakly positive. There is statistic significance between the two groups(P<0.05). It indicated that CDT1 may be associated with the genesis and development of HCC. Compared with HBsAg positive HCC tissue, the expression of CDT1 in HBsAg negative HCC tissue is increased. The results indicated that CDT1 may be associated with the infection and replication level of HBV, and also with the mechanism of HCC genesis induced by HBV. The exact mechanism should be studied further.
